SatoshiQuiz is a quiz website where users win bitcoin for correctly answering questions from various categories.
A user can open the website and answer the question. To win bitcoins, user must be logged in and must be among the first three users to answer the question correctly, depending upon which he will get first/second or third prize.
The total prize of the question is mentioned under "PRIZE THIS QUESTION" for each question. It is awarded 60% to first user, 30% to second user and 10% to third user as explained in previous question. Also the prize for general quiz is adjusted for rank by rank factor as follows:
- Rank 10 : Gets 10% of the prize
- Rank 9 : Gets 20% of the prize
- Rank 8 : Gets 30% of the prize
- Rank 7 : Gets 40% of the prize
- Rank 6 : Gets 50% of the prize
- Rank 5 : Gets 60% of the prize
- Rank 4 : Gets 70% of the prize
- Rank 3 : Gets 80% of the prize
- Rank 2 : Gets 90% of the prize
- Rank 1 : Gets 100% of the prize
The prize amount is set per question and some questions have more prize than others.
A user gets 10 lives at the beginning of every hour. If the users gives an incorrect answer to a question his lives count decreases by one. When the lives reaches zero the user cannot attempt more questions till he gets 10 new lives at the beginning of the next hour.
At the beginning of every hour the lives count is reset to 10. If a user has run out of lives, he can also sent a tweet @satoshiquiz with #userid #morelives and the hash-tagged userid will get 5 additional lives.
Bitcoin address can be updated in My Account page.
The bitcoin payments are processed once every week on Sunday. To request payment please go to My Account page and submit the Withdrawal request. Min withdrawal is 11000 satoshis.
There are three kind of awards.
- Daily Award : Awarded daily to the user who gives the most correct answers for that day
- Weekly Award : Awarded weekly to the user who gives the most correct answers for that week
- Monthly Award : Awarded monthly to the user who gives the most correct answers for that month.
Ranks are based on the number of correct answers a user has given. Ranks are updated once a day. A user with better rank means a more experienced user with a better record.Also the prize for general quiz is adjusted for rank as follows:
- Rank 10 : Gets 20% of the prize
- Rank 9 : Gets 40% of the prize
- Rank 8 : Gets 60% of the prize
- Rank 7 : Gets 70% of the prize
- Rank 6 : Gets 75% of the prize
- Rank 5 : Gets 80% of the prize
- Rank 4 : Gets 85% of the prize
- Rank 3 : Gets 90% of the prize
- Rank 2 : Gets 95% of the prize
- Rank 1 : Gets 100% of the prize
- 0 < correct answers < 20 : rank=10
- 20 < correct answers < 400 : rank=9
- 400 < correct answers < 800 : rank=8
- 800 < correct answers < 1500 : rank=7
- 1500 < correct answers < 5000 : rank=6
- 5000 < correct answers < 10000 : rank=5
- 10000 < correct answers < 20000 : rank=4
- 20000 < correct answers < 35000 : rank=3
- 35000 < correct answers < 60000 : rank=2
- correct answers > 60000 : rank=1
Solo Challenge is the game mode where a users can challenge the quizzes on specific category. A challenge may also have a participation fees which will be deducted from your account once you participate to the solo challenge. If your result met the condition of winning, you will be granted the specified amount of satoshi as reward.
Faucet mode is the one on the top page and keeps showing a new quiz every minutes. A user can participated to anytime at his convenience. If a user can choose correct answer faster than others, specified amount of satoshi will be granted.
If a new user register to our site through the link of referring user, the referring user can get 20% of referred user’s earning for 1 year. A user can check his/her referred user list on Referral page in MyAccount.
This represents the number of correct answer a user has achieved in a row.
Premium account is a paid feature which disables ads on the website. Premium account can be activated from "My Account" page.
